PLOUGHED FIELD
A partial interpretation
from the artist's transient perspective
The earth is being prepared
for the next millennium. The entire earth is currently
being ploughed up so that the seed of the new age can
be planted.
We are nearing the age
of the individual within a world community where localism
and nationalism be seen not as superior to all causes,
but as part of the new world order.
The black spheres contain
the negativity that has prevented WorldPeace and the
emergence of the brotherhood of man.
In the center is a monument
to the individual. Each person contains the extremes
of black and white (positive and negative), which will
be the central theme of the third millennium.
The birds sow the seeds.
What they have devoured will be redeposited upon the
earth, bringing forth a rebirth throughout the world.
The trees are the positive
knowledge of the past, firmly rooted and standing tall
on the ploughed landscape as beacons. They show that
all is not lost, but that a new heaven and earth will
soon unfold.
The yellow rings symbolize
the ever-present spiritual forces that permeate the
planet. These forces will dominate and flourish now
that the negativity of the past is isolated.
Far out in the universe
of the third millennium, the black sphere of indifference
is engulfed by the white light of a new day coming.
